Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data. Last updated 14 August 2026.

This policy explains what personal data AssetKey Properties (“we”, “us”) collects through assetkeyproperties.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

We only collect what you give us through a form on this website:

  • Identity and contact data — name, mobile number, WhatsApp number, email address and city.
  • Requirement data — budget, size, preferred locations, property types, purpose, timeframe and any notes you add.
  • Property data (sellers) — property type, location, extent, facing, road width, expected price and approval status you declare.
  • Investor profile data — investment range, goal, holding period and risk preference.

We do not ask for identity documents, title documents, patta, encumbrance certificates or photographs through any public form on this website. If your file reaches the stage where those are needed, we verify who you are first and then issue a private, expiring upload link.

2. Why we use it

  • To contact you about the enquiry you submitted.
  • To match a buying or investment requirement against properties we hold.
  • To assess a property you have offered for sale.
  • To arrange site visits, consultations and follow-up calls.
  • To carry out legal verification and documentation where you engage us.
  • To keep records we are required to keep for a completed transaction.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising by third parties. We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

3. On what basis

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box when you submit a form, and — where you go on to engage us — for the performance of that engagement and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

4. Who sees it

  • Authorised AssetKey Properties staff working your file.
  • Our legal, survey and documentation personnel, where their work on your matter requires it.
  • Government offices — the sub-registrar, revenue and survey departments — only where a transaction you have instructed requires a filing.
  • Service providers who host our systems, under contract and confidentiality.

Properties submitted by sellers are never published. Buyer, seller and investor details are never disclosed to one another. Internal valuations, minimum acceptable prices, commission terms and internal notes are never shown to sellers or to the public.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not proceed — up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
  • Active files — for as long as the engagement is live.
  • Completed transactions — for 8 years after registration, to meet tax, audit and legal-defence requirements.
  • Documents you upload — for the duration of the engagement and the statutory retention period that applies to the transaction.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
  • Correct anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • Erase your data, where we are not required to keep it for a legal or record-keeping reason.
  • Withdraw your consent — as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

Write to info@assetkeyproperties.com with “Data request” in the subject line, and the reference number from your submission if you have it. We respond within 30 days.

Withdrawing consent stops future processing. It does not undo processing already carried out, and it may mean we can no longer act on your file.

7. Security

Data is held on access-controlled systems. Private documents are stored in private storage and served only through short-lived links issued after a permission check, never from a public address. Access is limited to the staff whose role requires it, and document access is logged.

8. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary to make it work and to keep a signed-in session secure. It does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes we will ask for your consent first.

9. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child's data has reached us, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer at info@assetkeyproperties.com or +91 99949 99949. If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use existing data will be notified to you directly.

Before launch: this policy states the practices the product is being built to follow. It must be reviewed by a qualified Indian legal practitioner, and a named grievance officer with a direct contact address must be inserted, before this site is published.
